What CogniZhi collects when you visit this site or ask for early access, why, where it is kept, for how long, and how to have it corrected or deleted. We follow Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act.
Who is responsible
Until CogniZhi is incorporated, its founders are responsible for the personal data described here. Once the company is registered, it takes over that responsibility, and this page will name it and its registration number.
Our data-protection contact is a founder, reached at privacy@cognizhi.ai.
Visiting the site
Reading this site needs no account and sets no cookies. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you across other sites.
Your IP address reaches Cloudflare, which hosts the site, as it would for any website. When you send a form, it is used by Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you are not a bot, and it is never stored with your details.
What we ask when you join early access
- What you would use it for — up to three choices, or your own words — your role, your company’s size, your timeline and a budget band for the kind of work you picked.
- If you choose to answer: your engineering team’s size, how you would prefer to pay, how you heard of us, and anything else you want us to know.
- Your work email, your name and your company — and a phone number, only if you give one.
- That you agreed to be contacted about early access, the exact wording you agreed to, and whether you ticked the box for occasional product news.
- Recorded automatically: the country your request came from, your email’s domain and whether it is a free-mail address, any campaign tags in the link that brought you, the site that referred you, and the version of the form.
Why we ask
To confirm your email, open your private preview, and let a founder follow up about early access — by email, or by phone if you gave a number.
To understand who is interested and what they need. Budget answers are only ever used in aggregate, to shape our products and pricing.
We send no marketing email unless you ticked the box for product news, and every such email will carry an unsubscribe link that works at once. A phone number is used only to follow up on the early access you asked for — never for marketing calls or messages.
The one cookie
When you confirm your email we set one strictly necessary cookie, which keeps you signed in to your preview. It lasts 30 days, is extended while you use it, and never lasts beyond 90 days from when you signed in. Signing out removes it.
While you fill in the early-access form, your answers are kept in your browser’s session storage so that a reload does not lose them. They never leave your device that way, and they are gone once you send the form or close the tab.
Counting the form’s steps
We count how many people reach each step of the early-access form, so we can see where it is confusing. A count is a step, the form’s version and the day — nothing that identifies you.
Your preview
In your private preview we record which steps of each walkthrough you reached, and when, so a founder can pick up where you left off. Nothing else about how you use the preview is recorded.
Your preview carries your own invite link. If a colleague signs up with it, their form starts with your company’s name filled in, and we note that you invited them. We never contact anyone you invite — they sign up themselves.
How long we keep it
- If you never confirm your email, your details and answers are deleted after 30 days.
- Sign-in links are deleted 7 days after they are used or expire, and sessions 30 days after they end.
- The content of each email we send you is cleared once it is sent; the record that it was delivered is kept for 30 days.
- If you confirm, we keep your details for as long as the early-access conversation lasts — while there is any sign of it, such as signing in, replying or updating your answers. After 24 months without any of that, we take the purpose to have ended and anonymise your record: your name, email, phone, company and anything you wrote are deleted, and only the coded answers — role, company size, use cases, budget bands, timeline, country and the month — are kept, linked to no one.
- A deleted or anonymised record can survive in our backups for a limited time — up to 7 days in the database’s recovery window and up to 90 days in weekly backups — and is then gone.
Where it is kept, and who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps your details in its D1 database (primary location: Asia-Pacific). It also runs Turnstile, and the sign-in our team uses.
- Zoho sends the emails we send you (ZeptoMail) and hosts the mailboxes that receive your replies.
- Resend, in the United States, sends those emails when Zoho cannot.
Some of these providers handle data outside Singapore. Each is bound by data-processing terms that give it protection comparable to the Act’s.
Your choices
- To see or correct what we hold about you, write to privacy@cognizhi.ai.
- To stop hearing from us, use the “stop contacting me” link at the end of any email we send. It ends all email at once and closes your preview access.
- To have your details deleted, write to privacy@cognizhi.ai. Deletion on request keeps no anonymised copy.
Keeping it safe
Only the founding team can reach your details, through sign-ins that need their own accounts. Sign-in links and sessions are stored only as one-way hashes. If we suspect a breach, we assess it within 30 days and, where the law requires, notify the Personal Data Protection Commission within 3 days of that assessment — and you.
Changes to this page
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. The consent wording on the form is versioned, and each response records the version agreed to.
